Dinara Atayeva was born in the former Soviet Union, where she attended a strict Russian school known simply as School 55. Those years in uniform left a lasting impression the discipline, the sameness, and the curious tension between individuality and conformity. Later, after moving to South Yorkshire and growing up in Barnsley, Dinara carried those memories with her, blending them with a fascination for the possibilities of the future.

 

Her work is a dialogue between these two worlds: the nostalgia of childhood uniforms and the forward-looking experimentation of avant-garde design. Formae is where her past and future meet a brand that reimagines uniforms into wearable architecture for the modern woman.
